Musical Networks

C-major, A-minor, Eb-major, D-minor, D-major, E-major, F-major, G-minor, Bb-major, G-major, B-major, F-major-Beethoven

Observations:

  • A MIDI player is necessary to listen to MIDI files.
  • An OpenDocument Spreadsheet or ODS file is compatible with OpenOffice.org Calc and Google Docs.
  • The ODS files available here have two sheets. Sheet 1 contains the MIDI music converted to TXT with MIDI-2-CSV tool. In the first sheet, you will probably find some hidden rows, be aware of this if you want to take a look on it.
  • All you need to start building musical networks is to copy and paste the content of sheet 2 into a txt file, and use it as input to Algorithm A.1. Sheet 2 contains the information necessary to build a musical network with any version of Algorithm A.1: undirected, directed, or multi-directed.
