Vitor Bernardo is a PhD student and an Invited Lecture at University of Coimbra, Portugal. Since 2011, he is also a regular visiting researcher at University of Bern, Switzerland. He received his Master and Bachelor degrees in Informatics Engineering from University of Coimbra, respectively in 2009 and 2007.
During the last years he was involved in various research projects both at National and European level, namely in FP6 EuQoS, FP6 WEIRD, COST Action TMA and COST Action WiNeMo. His main research interests include energy optimization mechanisms for wireless networks, quality of experience, broadband wireless access networks (e.g., WiMAX and LTE) and seamless mobility in heterogeneous networks.
