RECENT RECOGNITION

The Regulated Activation Networks (RANs) Identified as one of the 5 "Excellent Innovations” that resulted from European projects in the year 2017. Apart from being the core of my P.hd. Research, the RANs developed under the scope of FP7 project ConCreTe. According to European Unions agency, Innovation Radar, RANs belong to an Exploration type of Market Maturity category, i.e., the Innovations in early phases of technological readiness, with a high commitment from organizations developing them.

CONTRIBUTION
  • Computational Model RANs.
  • Demonstration of Excitation, and Regulation operations.
  • Simulation of Intuitive computational blend.
RECENT HACKTHON ACHIEVEMENTS
NOKIA Hackthon (NOKATHON'19)
(Our team won the challenge obtaining 2nd position in Europe)

This was two days challenge, placed by NOKIA, focusing on the resolution of a specific problem related to "Data Science & Analytics". The problem was to compare two sets of .txt log files. The first log file is the observed or recorded logs and the second log file is the ideal (Normal condition) log. The objective is to analyze the observed log in which you will encounter unstructured data and compare with the second one, identifying the differences between them (outliers)

ABOUT

I am a machine learning researcher at CISUC, University of Coimbra, Portugal. I have been contributing to the domain of machine learning and computational cognitive modeling since March 2014. Currently, I am working on research project SOCIALITE, developing a people-centric solution using computational cognitive modeling. Previously I contributed to an International project named ConCreTe and developed a Computational Cognitive Model to simulate a creative process called Conceptual Blending. Apart from research projects, I have had an opportunity to teach at two prime institutions NIT Allahabad and NIT Raipur.
