About me

I am a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Informatics and Systems of the University of Coimbra. Currently, my research revolves around the Recognition and Generation of humorous texts. I have been working with NLP since 2014 and my main interests are on Semantic Representations and general semantic Knowledge.

Throughout my academic life I worked primarily with Word Embeddings and Abstract Meaning Representation (AMR) for different applications, namely Post-Editing of Machine Translation and Text Summarization. Currently, I am invested into conciliating explicit linguistic knowledge with modern computational models.
