Intrusion Injection
In the context of network security, intrusion injection is a technique that involves injecting malicious traffic into a network to evaluate the effectiveness of intrusion detection systems (IDSs). This paper presents a new intrusion injection framework that is based on a machine learning approach. The framework is able to automatically generate realistic intrusion scenarios that are tailored to the specific environment of the IDS being evaluated. The results of the evaluation show that the proposed framework is able to effectively test the performance of IDSs and identify potential weaknesses.
