My name is Vinicius da Cunha Martins Borges. I am a Ph.D. student at the Departament of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra (Portugal). I hold a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Rio Verde (2004), and a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Federal University of Santa Catarina (2006). I am a member of the Laboratory of Laboratory of Communications and Telematics (LCT) and of the Laboratory of Research in Distributed Systems (LaPeSD) in the UC and UFSC, respectively.

My research interests are in the field of Computer Networks and Distributed Computing. Recently, I am working with routing in wireless mesh networks. During my M.Sc. course I did research in the field of Grid Computing, specifically in Mobile Grid.
